Sundays, 10:30 AM – 11:30 AM; followed by a time of Fellowship
What Should I Expect on Sunday?
At Dublin Presbyterian Church (DPC) you’ll find a welcome, casual atmosphere with powerful worship, and practical, relevant teaching in a friendly and loving environment. We gather as people of different backgrounds, callings, personalities and ages to acknowledge and worship the Living God. There are no expectations to join us for worship! ALL are welcome in our midst.
Our worship style has a mix of traditional and contemporary elements. The adult choir sings in worship from September through the end of May every year, and they perform selections from all genres and styles of music from classical to contemporary. Throughout the season the DPC youth choir and hand chimes also perform in worship. The worship is complete with a sermon from the pastor and congregational singing. The congregational singing ranges from traditional hymns, to contemporary songs. This music is accompanied on our Shantz 2-manual 16-rank pipe organ, and our Baldwin grand piano.
Throughout the year the adult choir and children will perform special musical services such as a cantata or a youth Christmas pageant. Brass musicians and orchestral instruments are brought in to help us celebrate special services such as Christmas Eve and Easter Sunday.
Communion is also served once per month during worship. We have an open table to all, so participate as you are comfortable.
What to wear?
Come as you are, at DPC its not about what you wear! Some people in our congregation dress up, but most dress casually!
Are Children Welcome?
Absolutely!! At DPC we celebrate children as part of our worshiping community. In worship, children can develop an understanding of themselves as part of the family of God and share in a special children’s message time with the Pastor.
Children are welcome to sit with you during the Worship service or we provide these educational and child care opportunities:
Child care for infants through 2 years old is available in the nursery. We employ screened care providers through professional child care service.
After the Children’s Message, children (grades K and older) are invited to gather in the Fireside room for a Bible Story and discussion time.
