News and Events

Get your DPC Logo Apparel: We encourage everyone to stop by the logo apparel table coming soon after service in the narthex. Check out the different articles, and help support your church by sharing your church experience with the community through wear and display of our logo apparel at the office, community events, and church activities. You won’t be disappointed!

Max & Ermas: Take a break from cooking and clean-up and enjoy a meal at Max & Erma's, Dublin Location at 411 Metro Place North this Thursday, September 2nd. The church will receive 20% of our sales to benefit our Mission Committee.  Mark the first Thursday of every month as a meal out when you eat at Max and Erma's for our monthly fundraiser.

Don't forget our gift card program! Gift cards for a variety of stores are available through DPC, see the connections center in the narthex for information and order forms. Contact Patrick Metzger for details.

Facebook: DPC now has a Facebook page! We want to use social media to increase visibility, not just to our members, but to those who may be looking for a church home or church-based activities. If you’re on Facebook, please connect to the page (search Dublin Presbyterian Church), and pass it along! Be sure to create events and post…pictures too! This page belongs to us all; post info from your areas of involvement so it stays current. It may just be just the thing that someone new wants to join!

Ink Cartridge Recycling: Please continue to bring in empty cartridges, they are saved and recycled bringing in about $350/year to the office supplies the church uses.

Please help fund our Mission trips by registering your Kroger Plus Card as part of the Kroger Community Rewards Program.  At no cost to you, Kroger will make a donation to our Mission Trip fund based on your Kroger purchases. Details on how to sign up are on Fundraising Efforts page.  Even if you have signed up in the past, every April Kroger requires an annual confirmation that you support our Mission Trip efforts.

The Gail Merecicky Memorial Garden! Ian Stamm, a life scout in Boy Scout Troop 117 has started his Eagle project at DPC.  The project is a memorial garden in Gail Merecicky’s name for her love of plants.  There is a sign up sheet on the Connections Center – for those who want to pick a week to help with watering and weeding thru the summer. Please sign up.

Good Kitchen News: We recently received some generous donations to the Fellowship Hour fund.  These donations should keep us running smoothly through the summer and possibly into the fall --  the coffee will keep flowing, the cups will be plentiful, and the trash cans will have liners, although not silver ones.  A huge THANKS and many BLESSINGS upon those who have made it possible for our fellowship times to continue.   (P.S.  The donation basket will remain on the coffee table for those who wish to make donations in this manner.)

The Women's Monday Bible Study group will begin meeting on Monday, September 13 from 12:30 to 2:30 PM in the Fireside Room. The topic will be Beth Moore's "Daniel, Lives of Integrity, Words of Prophecy". The class length is 12 weeks and will complete on 11-29 before the busy Christmas holidays. Workbook cost is $15.00 and can be paid when the class begins. Come join in for a fun and interesting Daniel adventure. A sign up sheet is located at the Connections Center or on the Connections page in the weekly bulletin.

Time to stock up on all things SCHOOL for our Rosemont Back 2 School Supply Drive! The Mission Committee will collect school supplies again this year for Rosemont Center. Bring in any donations and leave in the marked area of the narthex. Any supplies are welcomed, but a list of specific needs is posted by the collection area. Thank you!
