LOGOS is for all youth:
Ages Kindergarten through 12th grade.
LOGOS is a midweek, four-part program:
Recreation/Craft- Everyone needs to play and have fun at no one's expense.
Worship Skills- Being able to actively participate in worship creates a sense of belonging.
Bible Study- To guide our youth to become biblically informed.
Family Time- Dinner! Sharing a meal as we experience being a family of God.
LOGOS is about building relationships:
Logos involves the entire congregation and the families of the youth involved.
The LOGOS Program is an integral part of the Christian Education and nurture system of the church. It works because people get involved and take seriously the faith development of the young people of our church and our community. By registering a young person in the LOGOS Program, you make a commitment to participate in the program with the young people it serves.
LOGOS volunteers are blessed!
Children and youth "catch" the Christian faith by entering into relationships with adults who live their Christian faith and treat every person as a child of God.
Whether you are leading a game,washing dishes, parenting a table, or driving a car-pool, you are demonstrating to the youth in the LOGOS Program that you love them and you want them to know God and develop a relationship with Jesus Christ. What could be more rewarding than to know you are nurturing the next generation in their faith?
There are so many ways to serve, big and small. They are all important to the youth who paticipate in LOGOS.
We volunteers have as much fun as the kids every week!
