How many Sunday services are there?
There is one at 10:30 a.m.
When does the Church School meet?
Classes for both children and adults meet on Sunday at 9:00 a.m.
Is nursery care provided on a Sunday?
Yes. Both during Church School and the Sunday service.
How do you go about having a baby baptized?
At least one parent needs to be a member of the congregation.
How do you become a member?
The New Members Class allows prospective members to get acquainted and learn about the life and ministry of Dublin Presbyterian Church. If you have any questions about the class or about joining please call the Church Office.
Is there a confirmation class?
It meets weekly on Sundays, 4:30 - 6:00 pm and is designed for 8th - 12th graders. Confirmands are expected to attend all classes and will be confirmed during a Sunday worship service.
Is the congregation involved in any community projects?
Absolutely! They include The Dublin Food Bank, Habitat for Humanity, etc.
Are there any social events?
Yes!! There are many events throughout the year, from the ever-popular potluck, to family activities, to small dinner groups for adults. There's also a coffee hour after worship every Sunday. Join us! Fellowship opportunities are open to all!
Is Dublin Presbyterian Church part of the Presbyterian Church, USA?
Yes. And this makes us a member of the Presbytery of Scioto Valley.
What are some of the important differences between the Presbyterian Church, USA and the Presbyterian Church of America on Post Road?
There are several. One of the most important of them is that we ordain both men and women to ALL offices in the church -- elder, deacon, minister of Word and Sacrament.
